Brent S. Claymon is a Co-Founder, Principal and Global Real Estate Advisor of Encore Sotheby’s International Realty.
Brent’s entrepreneurial history spans over three decades and a diverse spectrum of business ventures. Most of his career was spent in the mobile office and modular building space. He is involved in several private equity and real estate investing activities. The recognizable brand, Sotheby’s, attracted Brent thru its unique operating philosophy, Local Expertise. Higher education and community involvement are very important to Brent, as shown by his past involvement with nonprofit boards such as Gleaners Food Bank, Child Advocates, Indiana University Varsity Club, Butler University College of Business Board of Visitors, Stanley K. Lacy Leadership Series, Indiana Golf Association, and the Indiana University Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Brent received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in Finance and Real Estate and Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Butler University. Brent is an avid tennis player and despite his many business and community interests, he continues his tennis passion as the Head Coach for Varsity Tennis at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School in Indianapolis, where he has helped coach individuals to State championship rings, plus team County and Conference championships.
